£ £ Suiqiao Ye, male, born in 1961, is a native of Qingtian country, Zhejiang province. As a maestro of Chinese Stone carving, Suiqiao Ye is now a member of Zhejiang Industrial Art Committee, Lishui Industrial & Commercial Committee(the 2nd session); the vice president of Qingtian Industrial & Commercial Committee, Chairman of board of Qingtian Stone Carving Cabinet.
£ £ Growing up in the hometown of Stone Carving, Suiqiao Ye loved this art when he was young and took it as a career after his graduation from senior school in 1979.He is diligent in his study of stone carving skills and under the instruction of the famous masters of stone carving, he became skilled in stone carving after years of efforts and hard work, he specializes in the carving of the landscape and flowers. He planned and carried out his carvings according to the quality and color of the stone with unique figure and crafty design. Many of his productions won prizes and well
worth collecting and are loved and cherished by artists, collectors, entrepreneurs and numerous consumers. In the year 1997, his production "Jade of Nine Dragons" won the gold prize in the First International Expo in LiaoningProvince in China. In 1998,his "Creat Wall of China" was collected by Shanghai History Museum(Lingyuan)£ permanently. His production "Emperor Qianlong tour in South China" was exhibited in Kunming International Expo in the same year. In 2001, His "Incorruptibility" and his "High and upright character"¡¢"The blessing of the plum blossom Dewdrop" in May 2002 all won the first prize In Beijing International Art Festival. In September 2001, his "overlook" "Mountains and Rivers" "Impregnable Pass" all won gold prize in the NationalArtist Production Expo. His productions "Incorruptibility" and "Jade of Nine Dragons" appear in the post cards issued by the National Post Bureau. The photo of his production "Happiness" was on the albums of photos "China Hometown" published by Chinese Time & Economics Publishing House. In the same year his "High and upright character" and "The blessidng of the plum blossom" were recorded in the book "Master pieces of Chinese Industrial Artists" .In 1998 he was honored as the Maestro of Chinese stone Carving by Chineses Industrial Artists Committee For his excellent achievements and influence in the stone carving and his contribution to the fame of
the Chinese Stone Carving in the world, he was honored as the one among "500 Outstanding Personnel of Chinese Art in Asia in 21 century.
